Membership terms.

Last updated 25 August 2026. Cercle is an application-based private network operated by Occasio BV. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership or an invitation.

Membership and access

Cercle may review, approve, pause or decline applications and memberships to protect the quality, safety and purpose of the network. Invitations are personal and must not be transferred.

Introductions

Cercle facilitates considered introductions; it does not guarantee that a particular introduction, meeting, venue or commercial outcome will be available. Members decide independently whether to approve an introduction and attend a meeting.

Member conduct

Members must communicate honestly, respect confidentiality and treat other members with professionalism. Harassment, unsolicited outreach using Cercle information, discrimination or misuse of another member’s details may result in removal.

Paid memberships and consumer rights

Cercle offers optional Essential and Premium memberships through the applicable app store and, for approved members, through secure Stripe Checkout on the Cercle website. Before you confirm a purchase, Apple, Google or Stripe shows the selected plan, recurring total price, billing interval, renewal and cancellation terms and the main service features. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the next renewal.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed through the store account used to purchase them. Stripe subscriptions can be managed from the secure Cercle membership page, which opens Stripe's customer portal for payment-method changes, invoices, plan changes and cancellation. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues through the already-paid period. Starting a web subscription does not automatically cancel an existing store subscription, so Cercle prevents overlapping checkout while another verified membership period is active.

Where EU consumer law applies, you retain mandatory rights concerning digital services, fair contract terms and withdrawal, subject to the lawful rules and exceptions that apply to immediately supplied digital services. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not remove mandatory remedies. Store refund requests are handled under the applicable store rules. Questions about a Stripe charge or refund can be sent to info@cercle.house. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Reporting illegal content and moderation

You can report content you believe is illegal under EU or national law from Safety & reporting in the app or by emailing info@cercle.house. A notice should identify the content, explain the legal concern and include supporting details. Cercle will acknowledge sufficiently complete notices, review them impartially and communicate the decision. If content or access is restricted, affected users will receive the reason where legally permitted and may ask Cercle to review the decision.

Operator and legal notices

Cercle is the public-facing service name. Formal operator details, registered office and company identifiers are available on the legal information page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Unless mandatory consumer or data-protection rules provide otherwise, the courts of Brussels, Belgium have jurisdiction over disputes relating to Cercle.
